If one is looking for a fresh take on fighting games then this game will disappoint. What this game does however do is offer an excellent experience to fans of the samurai shodown franchise. It manages to recreate the atmosphere that made (IMHO) Samurai shodown 2 such a great game and adds a few new faces to the mix while at it.
