However, the new elements that Osman brings - power-ups that give you after-images for multiple hits, a distinctly shorter attack range that forces you to get closer to danger to progress, more intricate set-piece encounters, the existence of smart bombs, and a harsher worldview and greater level of violence - serve to make this game a distinct experience from its forebear. This is the pinnacle of Isuke's acrobatic platform fighters, quite a bit better than Strider and its sequel, but sadly little-known outside of coin-op fan circles. That it never got at least a Saturn or Playstation port is a crime. Never mind, though, since you're about to download and play it yourselves - I'm sure you'll like it as much as I do!
