Not a bad game by buda3d2003 on January 8, 2009

Have not seen this working on mame yet, but remember it from the arcades,
Allright game play at the time and I loved the fact that the graphics for fatalities had become good again as opposed to MK3 were things became really camp and cheap looking in that department, I still hate the run button and the "paint by numbers" combo systems but this thing was cool to play funny how I noticed that all the new characters copied allot of the old characters e.g tanya = jade etc.
the coolest thing in this MK4 version was the new weapon system and the over the top sound FX when you hit someone with say sub zero's club.
very cool, but was only good on the arcade, all ports of this seriously lacked the same depth as the arcade version.
One more thing the mocap speeches for the head and body at the end did not macth up with the sound and made the characters look like Thunderbirds or rather power rangers when they spoke,
4 stars ****
(sorry but MK 2 was the best in the series and still is, why? you don't see street fighter changing there entire button system and layout to the point were you have to take your eyes off the screen to find the badly placed run button, as well as the crude and mundane combo system all introduced in MK3)
