One did it for me is the introduction of being able to manipulate the whip. When holding down the attack button, one could then use the directional pad to twirl the whip in a circular motion, or can just hold it down below you attacking enemies when they walk through. The other great features have to be the enemies and the soundtrack. The boss fights are the best. And listening to the track on the first level gets me pumped to murder Dracula's face!! Great game!!
