The Champion of Wrestling Games? by Fatwreckman on May 1, 2009

Now that WWE Legends of Wrestlemania is upon us, it's only natural for us to feel.... urges, it's completely natural and nothing to be ashamed of, certainly not.
These urges, of course are to play classic wrestling games, in all there glory, now, obviously, this game was hard to come by as it was an arcade game, if you wanted to play this as a kid, you'd have to empty your pockets at the arcade, which over time, is a little pricey, some gamers must have paid for this game at least 20 times over in their liftime!
The game itself is somewhat of a milestone, the characters where huge, had facial expressions, their finishers looked great, their outfits were perfect.
I'd liked to have seen a one and one mode and a Survivor Series match in here, but unfortunately, being an arcade game, there are only 2 modes.
Tag Team Championship
Royal Rumble
The former is a huge chase to the WWF Tag Team Championships, where you have to face off against a rather riled LOD at the Saturday Nights Main Event, after qualifying for their titles that is, along the way you have to take on some of the best teams the WWF had to offer, Hogan and Warrior, Dibiase and Perfect and even Demolition in a Steel Cage Match!
The latter is an every man for himself, over the top elimination battle royal where you have to match your buttom bashing ability against a rather tough bunch of Opponents... plus there are six superstars on screen simultaneously!
What I'm getting at is, it's a near perfect representation of what the WWF used to be about, like I said, a one on one match system where you fight to the WWF Championship would have been great, but other than that, I highly reccomend this game, it's almost perfect!
