I never played this in the arcade, only on MAME. It's definitely got Golden Axe overtones, which isn't a bad thing... but it pales in comparison to Golden Axe. I'm sure it would have been enjoyable at the time (1991 I think) and playing with a few friends would have been cool. One of the things I remember about the original Rastan was awesome music - how it came to a crescendo when things were getting dicey for Rastan. None of that here. Some of the dialogue actually appears to be in German, or Scandinavian? Decent graphics. Decent gameplay. A little too easy. It gets a 7 from me. You must be a member to write reviews.
