Magical Quest is full of lush colors and environments, even if Mickey is in a creepy forest. The game's story has Mickey venturing into the land of Emperor Pete to rescue Pluto. Mickey must run, climb, and jump through varied worlds as he makes his way to the emperor's castle. Mickey gets help along the way as he wears costumes that add to his abilities: a turban that changes him into a magic casting magician, a firefighter's gear allows Mickey to spray water (and put out fires), and a mountain climber's gear allows Mickey to climb onto higher platforms and swing from hooks.
