Button masher time by robcypher on August 1, 2009

Pretty graphics...but is so damn cheap regarding button mashing (pressing random hit buttons to get combos). I have yet to really play its sequel...hopefully it improved on this flaw.
ULTRA COMBOS FTW!!!!! by hulffle on July 21, 2009

this game can be fast paced and very competitive if your used to the controls. there is a great selection of characters that have unique abilities, and just mind blowing combos you never seen before!! although there really is no story why the heck these people are beating the crap out of each other, its still an interesting game that you will want to keep playing. the last boss is probably the most challenging part of this game. best way to beat him is with an ultra combo which aren't that easy to do so beware....

any way im done talking and this is what i got left to say

people that like fast-paced fighting games, you will like this one!!!

Heavy combos! by kwolf on January 13, 2009

This game was my favorite in its age. Personally, I like high speed and dynamic fighting games and the Rareware team really worked on it.

You choose a character and fight against other 9, using a easy high combo system. What is it? Simple: The most combos aren't like MK, following the style "one button per hit" and according with the extension of combo, the loss of life gauge is reduced (as Marvel series by CAPCOM).

In my opinion the Rareware fails in just one detail: "THERE'S NO GRABS OR THROWS!!". And it follows inside KI2 and KI Gold. But it don't made this cart a waste. A worth of games, no doubt.

An awesome fighting game by genocidekarma on October 10, 2008
This game blew me away in the arcades... I don't even wanna think about how much cash I plugged into this game back in the day. I was so stoked when it was releasd on the SNES, but was disappointed by how much content was removed, due to the system's limitations.

Basically, this is Mortal Kombat-lite, albeit with better graphics, tighter controls, and deep gameplay.

The story is very weak, almost to the point of nonexistance. But, then again, who plays a fighting game for a deep narrative, anyway?

Just play it. Nuff said.
