What a way to bring the fun of outdoor games into the centre of your house.
California Games brings a array of summer sports onto ur console. Sports ranging from skateboarding,surfing,skating,bmx,flying disc and how can you forget the infamous footbag.
These are all fun games with easy to handle controls, fun graphics and simple soundtrack to keep the game flowing. not only allowing to practice a sport over and over looking the perfect score, to competing in all events one after the other while trying to beat high scores.
Some fun graphics are found throughout the game from a shark popping out after your surfer has just crashed off a wave to the jaws sound in the background, hitting a bird with a foot bag to your skater face planting while hitting a crack in the road in skating.
Most games are easy to handle foot bag taking the longest to perfectdue to all the moves and combo's. skating i find the hardest to get used to as always miss timing jumps and not judging obstacles well enough, but all in all good easy fun with all the games. fly disc and bmx being good fun though it takes some getting used to the stopping in bm and perfcting the dive catch. Finishing off with skateboarding the half pipe being a fav of the game, simple turns and hang time hand plants making it a must try on this game.
