For what this game was in it's time it's still an absolute gem in ours. It can be quite a challenge but if you don't like having to start all over again there are cheat codes available on IGN. If you're looking for a good game to start with on your new emulator this is the one to start with. With good graphics and sounds and a large number of stages and hours of fun (or frustration). Highlight the opportunity to play with magnet and good variety of characters without any limitation of their powers. Awesome by FunkyDuncs on October 15, 2008 Rating: 10/10 X-men 2 'The Clone Wars', to this day remains one of my favourite 2d Platformers. As soon as you turn on your genesis, your into action. After a breif (and very cold looking) Introductory level, which you star as one of 6 X-men, The game properly starts. Phalanax clones are appearing and spreading like a virus, wreaking havoc throughout the world, and so the X-men step up to stop it and find out what really is going on. Players choose from 6 of the X-men; Cyclops, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Beast or Psylocke (and later on get the chance to fight as Magneto) The gameplay is usually quite simple, you move, you jump, you kill, you get to the end of the level/s and kill the boss. Sometimes however you are required to travel back and forth throughout the level, or even have to face a(often irritating) jumping puzzle. Each character also gets there own unique power, which grows stronger as the life bar is filled up.
