For it's time Outlander was a great game. You as a down under policeman have to battle mutants and men, in a post apocolyptic future, but not in that order.
You drive your car to the crime scene to apprehend the villian of the hour, with a strict time limit to get them, and on occasion have certain limitations, some of which include: Cannot Kill them,Must kill them, or no destruction of property. Despite all this it does have it's limitations.
For one the weapons on your car aren't worth jack, and your flipping ability on foot doesn't always help. The villians you face are dumb, and ususally repeat the same pattern over and over, Also you can't run over those pesky bikers only shove them off the road.
The worse is there is no save point once you leave headquarters, if you mess up, you have to start all over again at the beginning of the mission.
I will not hesitate to say that the game is still fun, and a barrel of laughs to play.
