Deep Blue Sea Sickness! Awesome! by Slash Beetlejuice on July 15, 2009
Rating: 10/10
Years ago when I had my Sega genesis console, my dad took me to buy me some new games (He would only buy me 2 games and then I'd have to exchange those two for some other two games) and I ended up with Ecco 2: Tides of Time! I have never played a game more heavenly or majestic (even by today's standards) than this glorious piece of digital trip. Admittedly, I swooped the cartridge out of the slot the minute i realized that the game is all based underwater and in such a convincing way that i felt fear of what I might encounter. But after a considerable amount of pushing myself to actually start playing the game i found myself worshipping the cartridge!

The game never leaves space for you to even think that you're playing a video game! From the smart, innovative menu (you'll know what i mean) to the dark depths of the infinite ocean. The controls are easy to familiarize yourself and the story is splendid. Huge and intense levels that will keep you hooked for hours. And this one particular level that will keep you in awe! You'll be swimming in that level just admiring the genius and divinity of it! I don't wanna spoil too much but i'll give you a hint: Godly! A bit subjective but you'll know once it hits you! The graphics are great and the music is outstandingly appropriate! You'll wanna download the soundtrack, trust me.

Amazing game! Especially for people who into the cosmos and the whole 'outer-space'y feeling! Space rock/psychedelic music fans can shoot themselves in the head if they haven't savored on this yet...
