You enter the world going from castle to castle trying to survive until you reach the electric chamber at the end of the game to be able to kill yourself humanely escaping this horror. The key to survival in this game is to depend on the visual and audio cues. You have to go from room to room inside each castle without being killed by one of the creatures. You will have several weapons, such as a gun, which works on all enemies, an oil, which works on the dragon, and a water, which works on the fastest creature in the game, a ninja. The game also has very nice puzzle elements such as keys to access locked jail cells, which you could find by killing one of the jail guards. Beware of falling in holes!
